We were in Niagara Falls and I asked my AI Gemini to recommend a place! This was the #1 recommendation. And it did not disappoint! Wife had the Lobster Roll and I had the swordfish. Both were amazing! Well prepared and delicious. We started with a dozen oysters on the 1/2 shell. We asked our server to pick 6 and bring 2 of each! Great choices and they were fresh and delicious! Highly recommend Tide & Vine! They close early during the week, and we made it by 7pm. Will be back on my next trip!
Consistently awesome service food and wine best seafood in the Niagara region in my opinion
Tide and Vine Oyster House was honestly such an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was incredible!! We tried the East Coast oysters, mussels, octopus carpaccio, and a burger, and every single dish was executed perfectly. The oysters were fresh, clean, and full of flavour, the mussels were rich and delicious, and the octopus carpaccio was beautifully prepared and something truly special. Even the burger stood out; juicy, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. A huge shoutout to our waiter, Tristan, who truly elevated the experience. He was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout the entire meal. His recommendations and warm energy added such a great personal touch and made the experience even more memorable.
Went for lunch..... Always a great experience. Obviously the seafood is a highlight but nestled in a plaza you'd think the ambiance and atmosphere would be a little common but the staff and area are very cozy. This all leads to a pretty unique experience. Highly recommend Tide and Vine to anyone heading up to NOTL.
Dreaming of Oysters!!!!
This was our second time visiting and all I can say is I just want more Oyster's.....soooo good! Highly recommend the Kraken platter to share with friends!
We found this place several years ago. We visit Niagara-on-the-Lake a couple of times during the year and come here on Friday afternoon after we check in to the hotel for the $2 happy hour oysters. It's a cozy, fun place!
Wanted to give a shout out to Daryl and the entire staff over at the fish market! Truly great service and fantastic fish! They go above and beyond to help me with my order each and every week. I couldn't imagine purchasing my fish anywhere else. It's hard to find great fresh fish in the Niagara region so this place is quite a gem. Thank you!
Amazingly delicious fish and chips. I ordered this online for pick up. The young gentleman with dark brown hair and moustache who packed up my order was very friendly and ensured that I had all of the condiments I wanted for my order (malt vinegar, utensils). The fish was one of the best I have ever had. Breading was crisp but did not overwhelm— the fish filet was moist, flakey, and THICK! I’ve not seen this before at other restaurants, so this was a pleasant surprise. The chips were well seasoned and very crispy, which I liked. The tartar sauce is unlike the run-of-the-mill ones you get from most places— I wanted to go back and order more! It went well with both the fish and chips. The coleslaw that came with the order was equally amazing. The people who run this place are evidently passionate about good quality seafood. The Fish Market area also had samples of oyster crackers, candied salmon chunks, and other seafood dips and goodies for you to try. They also had a great selection of condiments from around the world, including Japanese wasabi oil and tuna in soy sauce in fancy little tins, as well as tools for cracking lobster shells and crab.
